  • We look forward to starting our upcoming Fall/Winter 2008/2009 season at Port Coquitlam arena. All sessions will begin the week of Monday September 8th. Detailed schedules and registration forms are available on line. We will have two regsistration dates, Wed Aug. 27th 7 - 9 pm and Sat. Sept. 6th 10 am - 2 pm in the main lobby at Port Coquitlam Arena and we will also be accepting on going registrations. If you have any questions or need more information please feel free to contact any of our Club Coaches, or our Registrar. If you are interested in private or semi private lessons, you can directly contact the club coach of your choice. All contact information for our Club coaches and Club Executive can be found under "coaches" or "about us"
  • We look forward to an exciting new Fall/Winter 2008/2009 season commencing September 8th, 2008. Please check our web site for information regarding our upcoming season. Schedules and Registration Forms can be found here.
  • We had our AGM on Saturday April 26, 2008. Thank you to all members (skaters, parents, and coaches) who attended. Congratulations to all thge skaters who won awards. Check our photo gallery for pictures. A big thank you to all existing and returing Board members and a warm welcome to new Board members.

Congratulations to long time Port Coquitlam FSC member, Caitlyn Ryan, who qualified for the National Championships with her Synchro Team,
"Coquitlam Ice Evolution"
Caitlyn competed in the BMO Skate Canada Synchronized Skating Championships held in Chilliwack on Feb 28 - March 2/08.
They competed in the Festival Adult category and placed 5th out of 13 teams.
Way to go Caitlyn, keep up the great work!!

2008 BC Coast Regionals/STARSkate Qualifying
Port Coquitlam Figure Skating Club has strong showing at 2008 BC Coast Regionals & Starskate Qulaifying Competition held this past weekend in Chilliwack, BC (Feb 9 - 10, 2008)

Elementary Ladies 9 and under:
-Rachel DiFrancesco - 2nd!!

Elementary Ladies 10 and over:
-Vanessa Young - 8 th

Pre-Preliminary Ladies 11 and over:
-Leah Todd - 2nd!!
-Shannon Corbeil - 4th

Jr. Bronze Ladies 13 and over:
-Krista-Marie Gevatkoff - 5th (final) Krista is the official BC Coast Region alternate to compete at the 2008 Pacific Starskate Championships in Kamloops , BC March 6 - 9, 2008
-Melissa Delmonte - 8th (qualifying)
-Melanie Beaulieu - 10th (qualifying)

Congratulations to Brooke Johansen for placing second at BC/YT Sections in Novice Ladies in Chilliwack on November 12 2006 . Good Luck at Western Challenge in Moncton on December 1 and 2nd!
Last year Brooke was BC Coast Champion and was 1st alternate to the BC Team in Ladies Pre-Novice. Brooke became a Poco Club member when she started Canskate at 6 years old!

Congratulations to Krista Gevatkoff for placing 1 st in Pre Prelim at Autumn Leaves and Michelle Fitzgerald who placed 3 rd in Senior Bronze Ladies. Autumn Leaves was held in Kamloops the weekend of October 20 th 2006 . Well done ladies!
