Youth Synchro at PoCo Skating Club! All local skaters welcome!

Try Synchro Sessions” @ PoCo Rec Complex Green Rink: $10/each

  • Aug 17th 7-8pm    &   Sept 12th 4:45-5:30pm

About the Team:

The age-range and category of the team will be determined once we see the group of skaters who are interested and committed.

The team will practice at the PoCo Rec Complex on Fridays (ice from 4:45-5:30pm)

Coached by Lauren Couture and Heather Collier.
While Heather is an experienced youth figure skating coach,

she will be assisted by long-time synchro coach Lauren Couture. Lauren will be completing the choreography for the team this season, and will mentor Heather throughout the year. We are extremely pleased to have two strong coaches working with this team! Our skaters are very lucky!

About the Sport

The youngest figure skating discipline (compared to singles, ice dance, and pairs),synchro is only about 30 years old. It’s an exciting team sport where 8-20 athletes

skate together in complete unison. The combination of creative choreography, appealing music, and attractive dresses makes synchronized skating a great sport for participants and spectators.

What is so wonderful about synchro is the camaraderie and friendships made through participation. Should your daughter choose to participate, she is likely to make lifelong friends and some of her best skating moments will be shared with dear friends.

Synchronized skating is great because there are teams at every age level – it is truly something you can do through adult-hood.
